We are Part of the Minnesota United Methodist Annual Conference.
The Minnesota Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church is the regional organization of United Methodist congregations in Minnesota. The United Methodist Church is the third-largest Christian body in the United States.
The churches of the annual conference are organized into five geographic districts: Big Waters, North Star, River Valley, Southern Prairie, and Twin Cities. Four district superintendents are appointed to oversee churches and pastors across the five districts.
Every year, lay people and clergy come together for an annual conference session, where they determine mission priorities, ordain ministers, hear challenges to grow in faith and witness, and celebrate how they have brought God's love to others in Minnesota and around the world.
Reaching the next person for Jesus
Our hope is to encounter the living God, to meet with Jesus. This can happen anywhere, but we pray it’d happen during each and every worship service at Albert Lea Church . Services are often the starting point for our relationship with Jesus. Because of this, we always consider the first-time guest, while challenging the person who’s been following Jesus for years. We want everyone to encounter the living God during each service.

Moving into the future, Albert Lea Church will continue to focus on making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We will be a church that works to include all persons and to make changes so that the church better reflects the beautiful diversity of God’s people and builds beloved community. We will continue to have global connections and global impact. We will continue to help people connect more deeply with God through Jesus Christ and be open to new ways of doing that through worship, spiritual disciplines, and building community.
