Staff Position Description
TITLE: DIRECTOR OF MODERN WORSHIP
RELATIONSHIPS: Employees in this position are responsible to the Staff-Parish Relations Committee. Ongoing supervision is by the Pastor.
HOURS: This is salary position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- General
- To support the congregation’s ministries and mission by the coordination of 9:00 am Modern Worship Service
- To maintain confidentiality in regard to all personal information disclosed by or about members, constituents, employees, and staff of the church.

Specific
To direct, lead and coordinate all music for the Modern 9 am worship service
- Attend regular staff meetings.
- Supervise all other music staff.
- Insure that musical equipment is maintained in good working order
- Create media using Mediashout for worship services
- Create two different praise band teams
- Create a team of volunteers to run media on Sunday morning
- To perform additional duties as necessary in coordination with supervisor and SPRC.
COMPENSATION: Is based on experience and average of 15 hours per week, With more in the school year and less in the summer months.
EVALUATION: The Pastor will conduct an annual evaluation with input from the SPRC committee.

TITLE: CHANCEL CHOIR ACCOMPANIST – Apply to jobs@albertleachurch.org
RELATIONSHIPS: Employees in this position are responsible to the Staff Parish Relations Committee and work under the supervision of the Music Director.
HOURS: as necessary to fulfill responsibilities Hours per week will depend on the needs of the Chancel Choir.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
General: The Accomanist will:
- Provide accompaniment for the Chancel Choir, including:
- Performance on Sunday mornings according to a schedule established by the Music Director.
- Performance at special services which may include Lenten Services, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Thanksgiving, Christmas eve, and others as included in the church schedule;
- Preparation for and attendance at weekly rehearsals;
- Preparation for and attendance at additional rehearsals which may be needed to support the full choral program of the church.
- Accompany soloists and small groups for special music as needed including weekly small Group woman’s group Faithtones and two concerts a year.
- Perform additional duties in keeping with the position as mutually agreed upon with the Music Director.
COMPENSATION: This position is a flat rate per event, session or date. Salary and other benefits will be detailed in the Employment Agreement.
EVALUATION: The Staff-Parish Relations Committee will conduct an annual evaluation with input from the Chancel Choir Director.
